Contrary to popular belief we have not moved to Chile to sustain ourselves on a concoction of elderflower cordial and rivita.

We are very much alive and kicking and are still working like a tribe of comodo dragons to conquer our prey, our prey in this instance being Album No 2.      

We have 17 new songs (pretty much) and it seems everything is fitting into place nicely. Although we still have a bit of a way to go yet, so we can ensure that this album is the monster that we want to make, and that you want to hear. We don't want to go into too much detail as to what the new songs are sounding like, as that would be like giving a child a lollipop with an iron wrapper. If you get what i mean?

I am missing touring a lot, life is much more rewarding when we get to play to you lovely scamps on a night by night basis. The word on the street is that we will be experimenting with producers around xmas time, to see what works and what doesn't, and to give us a clearer view of how to go about recording the album. 

Rest assure you will be seeing our shocking faces in a venue near you, in the new year!

OMG you have to come to Ireland on your next tour! And I'd just like to say that the TF theatre/events venue thingy in Castlebar in Mayo is the biggest outside Dublin....so yeah....you're coming to mayo! So glad you think it's such a good idea! Can't wait for the new album!

Take your time on the album. Get it right. First one was first rate so you have set a high standard for yourselves.

I'm a London expat living in Denver CO. Please make sure you don't miss us out when your over. It's a great place to visit, well take you to the mountains and blow your mind. Great venues, (Ogden, Gothic, Filmore and Red Rock of course). We've been lucky enough to host to a few others he came through this way and everyone had a great time.

I met Edward Murphy on the train up North Friday night and we talked all the way back about music and trains and snow. He told me his son was in 'The wombats' and I you tubed... Wonderful. I like the Scouse twang and the happy songs. Will be attending one of your gigs. Good publicity is your dad! Sorry to sound creepy and weird but he was very good company! Byebye
